Catalysts and accelerators

Catalysts and accelerators are components that allow the curing of polyester products (resins, glues, sealants, gelcoats). The types and quantities of catalyst are determined by the nature of the resin and the conditions of processing.

Accelerators are usually integrated into polyester products during manufacturing by producers. We also have at our disposal “Cobalt Salt-free” accelerators (without CMR-classified elements).

Inhibitors and promoters allow the lengthening or shortening of the curing of polyester products depending on the conditions of processing.
